Welcome and thank you for visiting! A little about me and my journey to this point so that you can decide if I am an appropriate therapist for you.
I started my working life as a state registered nurse (SRN) and absolutely loved the work, was trained to care for people as I would want my family cared for. I mainly worked in a cardiac & diabetic ward and latterly at a Marie Curie Hospice. I then trained as a midwife which suited me better.
As I progressed as a midwife working in my local hospital birth unit and then in the community, I encountered various situations for which I felt ill-equipped. Therefore in order to support my clientele better, I studied at the University of Hertfordshire in Client Centred Counselling.
